Sometimes, your Vidy may be flagged as restricted if it’s suspected of violating Vidyfy’s Community Guidelines. When this happens, it is removed from public visibility and marked with a restriction notice.
If you believe the restriction was a mistake, you have the right to submit an appeal directly from the edit screen.
🚫 What Does "Restricted" Mean?
A restricted Vidy is one that:
- Violates or is suspected of violating community standards
- Is hidden from the public feed, search, and channel view
- Cannot be edited by regular users except for deletion or appeal
🧭 How to Appeal a Restricted Vidy
- Go to your Vidy Dashboard
- Click Edit on the restricted Vidy
- Review the warning message shown at the top of the page
- Click the 📨 Submit Appeal button
- Fill out the appeal form explaining why your Vidy should not be restricted
- Submit the form and wait for our moderation team to review your request
⏳ What Happens After You Submit?
- Your appeal is reviewed within 24–48 hours
- If approved, your Vidy will be restored and made public again
- If denied, the restriction will remain, and the Vidy may be permanently removed if it violates major policies
⚠️ Before Appealing
Please double-check that your Vidy complies with all of our Community Guidelines before submitting an appeal. Repeated violations may lead to further restrictions on your account.
📌 Tip
Be respectful and detailed in your appeal message. The clearer your explanation, the faster our team can review it accurately.
