Barney Thomson is a meek barber living a humdrum life in Glasgow. When his overbearing boss, Wullie, confronts him at the shop, things go horribly wrong—Barney accidentally kills him. Desperate, Barney turns to his eccentric mother to help conceal the body, only to uncover a dark twist: she’s been chopping up victims and mailing off their parts to the police. With bumbling detectives closing in, one more accidental death—and an ensuing shootout—Barney must navigate a grotesque comic nightmare to survive and clear his name.
