Charlie Brenner is an underachieving former culinary student working at a movie theatre and living with his mother and stepfather. When he meets Amber, a local coffee shop barista, he falls hard despite her having a steady boyfriend and plans for college. As Charlie’s estranged father reenters the picture, family dramas and past disappointments converge. With confidence shaken and relationships tested, Charlie must decide whether to continue drifting or step into his future.
